Real conversions on South Florida carts
Lithium conversions free up significant space in the battery bay โ creating room for a new charge port, onboard charger, and extra storage that wasn't possible before. The single biggest visual surprise for most customers is how much room opens up when eight lead-acid bricks are replaced by one clean lithium pack.

A standard 48V lead-acid battery pack weighs approximately 420 lbs. A lithium replacement weighs roughly 128 lbs โ saving approximately 290 lbs on a typical cart. Less weight means the motor works less, the cart accelerates faster off the line, and every component from brakes to suspension experiences less wear.
Actual weight savings vary by cart model and existing battery configuration.
Lead-acid batteries lose power progressively as they discharge โ strong acceleration at the start of your ride, sluggish performance by the time you get home. LiFePO4 chemistry delivers consistent voltage from the first press of the pedal to the last. Every acceleration feels the same throughout the charge cycle. Performance loss over the life of the battery is also minimal, with only minor capacity reduction over hundreds of charge cycles.
Lead-acid batteries require regular water refills, terminal cleaning, equalization charges, and careful monitoring to avoid deep discharge. A lithium battery needs none of that. Charge it when you get home, unplug when full. The battery management system handles everything else automatically.

A Note on Voltage Upgrades
All packages are priced for a like-for-like voltage replacement โ the new lithium battery matches the voltage of your existing lead-acid pack. If you are interested in increasing your cart's voltage (for example, moving from 36V to 48V, or 48V to 72V), the motor and controller must also be upgraded to handle the higher voltage. This significantly increases the overall project cost and scope. Contact us to discuss a full drivetrain upgrade โ we will walk you through what is involved and provide a complete quote.

Everything you need to know before you upgrade
Lithium batteries are compatible with virtually all 36V, 48V, and 72V golf carts including Club Car, Yamaha, E-Z-GO, and most other brands. Call or text us at 561-354-3976 or get a free quote โ we will confirm compatibility for your exact make, model, and year before any work is scheduled.
Aftermarket modifications can affect your manufacturer's original warranty. We recommend checking with your dealer if your cart is still under factory warranty. Our lithium conversions come with their own 90-day Armature Worx warranty (Standard tier) or ECO Battery's 8-year limited warranty (Premium tier).
Most standard conversions are completed the same day โ typically 3โ5 hours. We will give you a specific timeframe when you book, and we test and register the battery fully before the cart leaves our hands.
Yes โ lithium batteries require a lithium-compatible smart charger. Your existing lead-acid charger will not work correctly and can damage the new battery. A compatible charger is included in all of our packages and installed as part of the conversion.
Premium tier batteries are sourced directly from ECO Battery at manufacturer pricing โ these are not retail or wholesale market batteries. The ECO Battery Gen2 105Ah pack, proprietary BMS, and compatible charger represent a meaningfully higher parts cost, and the 8-year limited warranty with 3 years of full free replacement is the strongest warranty available in the golf cart battery market. The price reflects both the quality of the hardware and the depth of the coverage.
A voltage increase (for example from 36V to 48V, or 48V to 72V) requires upgrading the motor and controller as well โ not just the battery. This is a larger project with a significantly higher total cost. Our packages are priced for like-for-like voltage replacement. If you are interested in a full drivetrain upgrade, contact us and we will assess your cart and provide a complete quote.
